To help the government combat terrorism and money laundering, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies every person who opens an account.

When you open an account at Mountain Heritage Federal Credit Union, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that allows us to confirm your identity. We may also request to see your driver’s license or other valid identification.

For security and compliance, you will need to present this information in person and sign your loan and account agreements at the credit union in the presence of our staff.
